Scarborough Bluffs, Ontario
(31.07.2006)
I decided to cycle to Scarborough Bluffs today to see what all the fuss was about when the Toronto Area PhotoBloggers went there. It took me 3 hours to cycle there and it was pretty hot today too! I came back with sunburn - oops!
Took me a while to figure out how to get there exactly, but luckily I managed to stumble across a great viewing point on the way. I took some shots from the top and then decided I wanted to go down to the beach area and see what it looked like from down there. The top view turned out to be the best. On the way down the hill it was good fun on the bike. Going back up was another story! It is 1km of "Use Low Gear" roads. Not fun on the bike at all! Especially with the heat and humidity. I won't be trying that again!
Anyway, here is one of the pics that best displays the height of the Bluffs. After the grass in the foreground their is a huge drop!
Bye for now!
