New Years Day - Polar Bear Dip

I was trying to find something interesting to do on New Years Day. I heard on the news that there was a polar bear dip. I thought that was strange because there are obviously no polar bears in southern Ontario! Apparently it is when a group of people run into Lake Ontario wearing only swim suits in the middle of winter! Anyway, it sounded like a photo opportunity and a nice walk, so I went along to see.
