Religion & Tommy Thompson Park

(09.04.2006)

I finally found a decent looking church in Toronto. The photo below was taken for the OcUK competition - Theme was "Religion".

I cycled for four hours before I found the church on Queen Street. I decided to head to the Tommy Thompson Park area. It is the bit of land that sticks out and kind of curves around Toronto Island. I hadn't really paid much attention to it before, because it looked like just docklands or something. It's actually a long bike ride, but it was quite enjoyable. I got all the way to the end where there is a lighthouse and an area where there are thousands of seagulls. There were also lots of nests for these big black birds. I managed to capture one of them feeding another one, but I think the shot was a bit blurry due to me using my 300mm lens.

All in all, I had a very energetic day, so I'm just going to chill out and watch a movie or something tonight.

I've reduced the size of my images on Flickr now too, because they were a bit too big and people might steal them!
